Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy governs the transportation, delivery, freight handling, shipment processing, order consolidation, carrier selection, delivery verification, and related logistics procedures applicable to purchases from Central Distributor LLC.
Central Distributor LLC operates primarily as a business-to-business reseller and may fulfill orders through its own supply network, authorized distributors, manufacturers, regional warehouses, and other approved fulfillment facilities.
By placing an order with Central Distributor LLC, the Customer acknowledges and accepts the shipping conditions described below.
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed after the applicable commercial requirements have been completed.
Processing may require:
Payment authorization
Purchase-order acceptance
Commercial credit approval
Inventory verification
Manufacturer or distributor allocation
Fraud-prevention review
Tax documentation
Export-compliance review
Product configuration
Special-order confirmation
An order confirmation does not necessarily indicate that merchandise has physically entered the shipping process.
2. Inventory Verification
Inventory displayed on our website may originate from manufacturer, distributor, warehouse, or electronic inventory feeds.
Because B2B inventory can change continuously, displayed availability should be considered informational until inventory has been confirmed and allocated against the Customer's order.
Products may become unavailable after an order is submitted due to:
Simultaneous purchases
Distributor inventory adjustments
Manufacturer allocation
Product discontinuation
Warehouse synchronization delays
Supply-chain shortages
Pricing or configuration changes
Where an item becomes unavailable, Central Distributor LLC may contact the Customer regarding backorder, substitution, revised availability, partial shipment, or cancellation options.
3. Fulfillment Locations
Orders may ship from one or multiple locations.
Possible fulfillment points include:
Central Distributor LLC facilities
Authorized distributor warehouses
Manufacturer warehouses
Regional distribution centers
Specialized fulfillment facilities
Authorized third-party logistics providers
The shipping origin may differ from the Central Distributor LLC business address.
Customers should therefore not assume that merchandise will ship from New Jersey.
4. Split Shipments
A single order containing multiple items may be divided into separate shipments.
This commonly occurs when:
Products are located in different warehouses;
Different manufacturers supply different items;
Inventory becomes available at different times;
Products require different transportation methods;
Certain items require specialized freight handling.
Separate tracking numbers may be issued for individual cartons or shipments.
5. Standard Shipping
Available shipping services may vary according to:
Product
Weight
Dimensions
Destination
Warehouse location
Carrier availability
Delivery requirements
Hazardous-material classification
Manufacturer restrictions
Standard ground transportation will generally be used where appropriate unless another service level is selected, quoted, or required.
6. Free Shipping on Selected Orders Over $450
Central Distributor LLC may provide free shipping on selected qualifying orders with a merchandise subtotal exceeding $450.
Free shipping is not automatically applicable to every order exceeding $450.
Eligibility may depend upon:
Product category
Manufacturer
Distributor
Product dimensions
Product weight
Warehouse location
Destination
Freight classification
Promotional eligibility
Delivery method
Commercial account terms
Free-shipping eligibility will be determined during checkout, quotation, or order processing.

White-glove delivery
Residential freight surcharges
Appointment-delivery fees

Dimensional weight
Package dimensions
Number of cartons
Freight class
Fuel surcharges
Special handling
Insurance

Quoted freight charges may be estimates when final shipment characteristics are not yet available.

Additional services may require separate charges.
These may include:
Lift-gate delivery
Inside delivery

Special unloading requirements
Customers should disclose relevant delivery restrictions when requesting a quotation or placing an order.

Where applicable, customers should also provide:
Company or agency name
Building number
Department

Suite
Receiving hours
Dock information
Delivery-contact name
Telephone number
Purchase-order reference
Special receiving instructions
Incomplete delivery information may result in carrier delays or additional charges.

Residential deliveries may be subject to:
Additional carrier charges
Signature requirements
Delivery restrictions
Freight surcharges
Lift-gate requirements
Appointment requirements
Certain manufacturers or distributors may prohibit residential delivery for particular products.
12. Delivery Estimates
Estimated shipping and delivery dates are provided for planning purposes.
Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, an estimated date does not constitute a contractual delivery commitment.
Delivery timing may depend upon:
Inventory availability
Warehouse processing
Carrier transit times
Manufacturer lead times
Product configuration
Destination
Weather
Transportation capacity
Governmental restrictions
Other logistics conditions
13. Expedited Shipping
Expedited transportation may be available for selected products.
Available services may include:
Next-business-day

Priority ground
Expedited freight
Other premium delivery services
Expedited service affects carrier transit time only and does not necessarily reduce:
Warehouse processing time
Manufacturer lead time
Product configuration time
Credit review
Order verification
Customers requiring a critical delivery date should contact Central Distributor LLC before placing the order.
14. Shipping Confirmation
Where available, Central Distributor LLC will provide shipment confirmation after merchandise has entered the carrier network.
Shipment confirmation may contain:
Carrier name
Tracking number
Shipment date

Partial-shipment information
Tracking information may require several hours after carrier pickup before becoming active.
15. Carrier Selection
Central Distributor LLC may select the carrier based upon:
Commercial rate
Service capability
Product type
Warehouse
Destination
Transit time
Freight classification
Supplier requirements
Carrier preference requests may be accommodated where commercially practical but are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing.
16. Customer Shipping Accounts
Where approved, Customers may request shipment using their own carrier account.
Examples may include Customer-established accounts with major parcel or freight carriers.
Use of a Customer carrier account is subject to:
Supplier capability
Warehouse approval
Carrier compatibility
Valid account information
Applicable commercial terms
When a Customer's carrier account is used, transportation charges and certain transportation-related claims may become the Customer's direct responsibility.
17. Signature Requirements
Central Distributor LLC, its supplier, carrier, payment processor, or fraud-prevention provider may require a signature upon delivery.
Signature requirements may apply to:
High-value orders
Computers
Servers
Networking equipment
Medical equipment
Fraud-sensitive transactions
Commercial deliveries
Other selected shipments
Customers are responsible for ensuring that an authorized recipient is available.
18. Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information before order fulfillment begins.
Central Distributor LLC is not responsible for delays or additional expenses caused by:
Incorrect addresses
Incorrect postal codes
Missing suite numbers
Missing building information
Incorrect recipient names
Incorrect telephone numbers
Incomplete delivery instructions
Address changes requested after shipment may result in carrier interception, redirection, or re-consignment fees.
19. Address Changes After Order Submission
Shipping-address changes are subject to verification.
For transaction-security purposes, Central Distributor LLC may refuse an address change after payment authorization or shipment processing has commenced.
Orders requiring shipment to a materially different address may require cancellation and resubmission.
20. Order Holds
An order may be placed on temporary shipping hold where additional verification is necessary.
Potential reasons include:
Payment review
Address discrepancy
Unusually high order value
Fraud indicators
Export-control concerns
Commercial credit review
Purchase-order discrepancies
Tax documentation
Inventory verification
A shipping hold does not necessarily indicate cancellation.
21. Delivery Inspection
Customers should inspect deliveries immediately upon receipt.
The receiving party should verify:
Number of cartons
Package condition
Visible damage
Product identity
Quantity
Pallet condition
Security seals where applicable
Any visible transportation damage should be documented before the delivery carrier departs whenever reasonably possible.
22. Freight Damage
Where a shipment arrives with visible freight damage, Customers should:
Photograph the damage
Photograph the packaging
Retain the shipping materials
Note the damage on the carrier delivery receipt
Preserve the product
Contact Central Distributor LLC promptly
Signing a freight delivery receipt without identifying visible damage may materially impair the ability to pursue a carrier claim.
23. Concealed Damage
Damage discovered after opening an apparently intact shipment should be reported promptly.
Customers should retain:
Original carton
Packaging material
Carrier labels
Product packaging
Damaged equipment
Central Distributor LLC may request photographs or additional documentation to facilitate a distributor, manufacturer, or carrier claim.
24. Missing Packages or Shortages
Where tracking indicates that a shipment was delivered but merchandise cannot be located, the Customer should first verify:
Receiving department
Loading dock
Mailroom
Front desk
Security office
Neighboring delivery areas
Internal receiving personnel
If the shipment remains missing, Central Distributor LLC should be contacted promptly.
25. Shipment Discrepancies
Quantity shortages, incorrect products, duplicate shipments, or missing items should be reported as soon as reasonably practicable.
Customers should provide:
Order number
Packing slip
Product part number
Quantity received
Quantity expected
Photographs where applicable
Central Distributor LLC will investigate the discrepancy with the relevant warehouse, manufacturer, distributor, or carrier.
26. Lost Shipments
Where a carrier confirms that a shipment has been lost in transit, Central Distributor LLC may initiate a carrier investigation or claim.
Replacement or refund timing may depend upon:
Carrier confirmation
Supplier procedures
Shipment value
Insurance requirements
Investigation results
Central Distributor LLC may not be able to issue an immediate replacement while a high-value shipment remains under active carrier investigation.
27. Refused Deliveries
Customers should not refuse an otherwise valid shipment without authorization from Central Distributor LLC.
Unauthorized refusal may result in:
Return transportation charges
Restocking fees
Re-delivery charges
Warehouse fees
Carrier accessorial charges
Refusing delivery does not automatically cancel the underlying purchase obligation.
28. Failed Delivery Attempts
If a carrier is unable to complete delivery because of:
Closed facility
Unavailable recipient
Restricted access
Incorrect delivery information
Missing appointment
Failure to provide unloading capability
the Customer may be responsible for resulting re-delivery, storage, detention, or return transportation charges.
29. Backorders
Products unavailable for immediate fulfillment may be placed on backorder where commercially appropriate.
Backorder delivery dates are estimates and may change due to manufacturer or distributor supply conditions.
Customers may contact Central Distributor LLC to determine whether:
Partial shipment
Alternative product
Revised delivery
Cancellation
is available.
30. Partial Shipments
Central Distributor LLC may ship available items before backordered merchandise unless the Customer has requested otherwise and the request can be accommodated.
Partial shipments may generate separate:
Tracking numbers
Packing slips
Delivery dates
Invoices
Freight charges where applicable

Special-order, configured, built-to-order, customized, or manufacturer-allocated products may have extended lead times.
Lead times for these products may begin only after:

Manufacturer acceptance
Project registration
Required documentation
Special-order delivery estimates are generally non-guaranteed unless specifically established through a separate written agreement.

Business eligibility
